LOCK HAVEN – Tasha M. STEPHENS, 32, of Mill Hall, Pennsylvania, was charged on January 27, 2023 by The Office of The State Inspector General, with False Statements, a Felony of the Third Degree.

The charge was a result of an investigation conducted by the Pennsylvania Office of Inspector General concerning the allegation that STEPHENS obtained employment and failed to report her employment and her income to the Clinton County Assistance Office. This caused an overpayment in benefits to STEPHENS in the amount of $2,205.20.

STEPHENS' Preliminary Hearing is scheduled for February 6, 2023 at 8:30 AM at Central Court which is held in the Clinton County Court House.

STEPHENS is currently free on bail.
