LOCK HAVEN- Scott Allen Treese, 42, of McElhattan, was sentenced on January 11, 2021, for Simple Assault, a misdemeanor of the second degree and Terroristic Threats, a misdemeanor of the first degree. Clinton County President Judge Craig Miller, imposed a sentence of six (6) moths to twenty-four (24) moths at a State Correctional Institute for the Simple Assault charge and a concurrent sentence of six (6) to twenty-four (24) months for Terroristic Threats.
Officers from the Lock Haven City City Police Department responded to a disturbance call at Hanger 9 bar and restaurant on February 16, 2020. Treese had approached a bar employee and made threatening statements. Treese also made gestures to the employee as though he was pulling a weapon from his waistband.
