LOCK HAVEN - Clinton County District Attorney Dave Strouse announced today that the woman charged with the assault of a pregnant woman in Hoberman Park in April of this year, Hailey Gillott, 21, of East Bald Eagle Street, Lock Haven, pled guilty Tuesday to various criminal offenses before Clinton County President Judge Craig P. Miller. The most serious of the charges included Aggravated Assault of an Unborn Child, a Felony of the first degree, and Intimidation of Witnesses, a Felony of the third degree. Gillott also entered pleas to animal neglect, a misdemeanor of the second degree; terroristic threats, a misdemeanor of the first degree; false reports to law enforcement, a misdemeanor of the second degree; theft, a misdemeanor of the third degree; and criminal trespass, a misdemeanor of the third degree.
Gillott is scheduled for sentencing in August, and faces maximum penalties of up to 38 years in prison.
