DUNNSTABLE TOWNSHIP - Jeffery Scott Ballenger, 57, was arrested this week by Pine Creek Township Police on several charges, including Rape of a Mentally Disabled Person, a first degree felony; Involuntary Deviate Sexual Assault of a Person with a Mental Disability, a first degree felony; Aggravated Indecent Assault of a Person with a Mental Disability, a second degree felony; and Indecent Assault of a Person with a Mental Disability, a first degree misdemeanor.  

Police allege that Ballenger engaged in a series of sexual acts over the course of several months beginning in approximately May of this year with a female he knew suffered from a significant mental disability.  Police also allege in the criminal complaint filed that Ballenger admitted to the sexual contact with the victim.

Bail was set on Ballenger in the amount of $100,000 by MDJ Frank Mills on September 20th, and Ballenger was committed to the Clinton County Correctional Facility.  Ballenger's first court appearance will be Tuesday, September 27th at 8:30 a.m..
