“Tis the Season”, another scam alert. WTPD has received complaints of victims receiving calls from the “Social Security Administration” telling them their social security number has been misused and to avoid any penalties they need to send a “Google Pay” card to the caller. The caller is asking the victims to provide personal information during the call.

   There are numerous scam calls going around and we advise everyone to never provide their personal to anyone who randomly calls your residence.
