On 09/27/25 at approximately 1747 hrs, the Renovo Police Department attempted to arrest 43 year old Darryl McDermit Jr on seven (7) outstanding warrants in the area of Erie Av and 4th St in Renovo Borough.  McDermit fled on foot from police, and was apprehended a short time later along Ontario Av.  McDermit was committed to Clinton County Correctional Facility in lieu of $1,500 bail on a new misdemeanor charge of evading arrest or detention on foot, along with the 7 existing warrants.
