NEWS RELEASE: March 10, 2021
1. SCAM – On 3/9/2021 a Sixth Avenue resident reported a phone scam where the caller reported receiving multiple calls with the caller saying they were from Amazon and requesting information. Police remind citizens to never give any personal information over the phone on a call you did not generate yourself.
2. CRIMINAL MISCHIEF - Police have charged Lori Storeman of Lock Haven with criminal mischief for an incident where Storemen caused damage with paint and markers to a property at 442 McElhattan Drive that no longer belonged to Storeman. Storeman will have a preliminary hearing scheduled.
3. DOMESTIC – On 3/10/2021 at 7:43 PM Police were called to a residence in the 2000 block of the Island Road for a domestic. It was determine do be a verbal dispute between the homeowners and their nephew who resides with them.
4. FIRE – On 3/10/2021 at 8:19 PM Police responded to the scene of a fire at 2233 Woodward Avenue. It was reported that the property owner had been burning some items and after leaving the property the embers ignited and spread to a debris pile next to the building causing damage to the building and exterior property.
Criminal charges, and any discussion thereof, are merely allegations and all defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
