Loraine Thomas, 41 of Williamsport, PA was picked up on a warrant for her arrest after she was charged by the Pine Creek Township Police Department with theft of  a handgun from a residence on Central Avenue in Avis on September 30, 2020.  Thomas was charged with theft of a firearm F2, receiving stolen property F2, Persons not to possess a firearm F2 and Firearms not to be carried without a license F2. Thomas was arraigned by District Judge Maggs and was unable to post her bail of $75,000. A preliminary hearing has been scheduled.
