MILL HALL:

DANIEL ELROY POWELL 47 of Howard was charged with burglary, criminal trespass, criminal mischief, receiving stolen property and theft after he was caught in the act after he broke into a closed business at 3170 Eagle Valley Road Mill Hall on Saturday 08/27/22 at 7:23pm, Mill Hall Police noticed indicators of criminal activity on the property and began to investigate, while doing so POWELL was still on the property trying to take a Kubota tractor, POWELL was confronted by the officer and taken into custody. It was discovered POWELL had cut several vehicle tires with a knife, wire harness on a trolling motor, several trailer wire harness', and a broken window in the building he used to gain access causing damages exceeding $3100.00. POWELL was placed in the Clinton County Jail his bail was set at $75,000 monetary. POWELL was unable to post bail and remains in the Clinton County Jail. The investigation is continuing.
