Offenses Charged:
1. Janet McBride, 64, Lock Haven, is being charged with Theft by Deception and Receiving Stolen Property. McBride had fraudulent ACH deposits made at a bank and then withdrew the funds before they the bank determined the deposits were fraudulent. McBride did not pay the money back to the bank when given the opportunity to do so. The total amount taken was $18,306.70.
2. Jacob Smith, 20, Lock Haven, is being charged with Prohibited Offensive Weapon. On 08-05-22, during a traffic stop, Smith was found to be in possession of metal knuckles.
3. Eugene Kemp, 42, Kingston, TN, is being charged with Bad Checks. On 06-22-22, Kingston wrote a bad check in the amount of $299.27 to a local business. The check was returned for being written from a closed account.
4. Tanner Cramm, 37, Beech Creek, is being charged with Criminal Mischief. On 07-26-22, Cramm spray painted train cars belonging to Norfolk Southern.
