News Release
September 19, 2022
Incidents:
1. Burglary – Between 09-09-22 and 09-12-22, someone cut the lock off a shed in the 200 block of S Jones St and stole two hedge trimmers.
2. Crash – On 09-08-22 at 11:25 AM, a crash occurred at E Main St and N Vesper St. Unit 1 was traveling north of Vesper St and executed a left turn failing to yield to the right-of-way to a vehicle that was traveling south on Vesper St.
3. Criminal Mischief – On 09-13-22, victim reported her vehicle was scratched between 09-12-22 at 5:00 PM ad 09-13-22 at 10:45 AM while parked at Evergreen Commons.
4. Crash – On 09-16-22 at 3:43 PM, a crash occurred at E Park St and W Clinton St. A vehicle traveling on W Clinton St failed to yield to the right-of-way to the other vehicle.
Offenses Charged:
1. Ricky Barner, 56, Lock Haven, is being charged with DUI. On 08-12-22, Barner was found to be in physical control of a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol. This occurred in the 300 block of W Bald Eagle St.
2. Clarence Taylor, 30, Lock Haven, is being charged with Access Device Fraud. Taylor attempted to use a stolen credit card at Lucky 7 Travel Plaza on 09-01-22.
3. Three male juveniles, ages 14, 15, and 16, are each being charged with Simple Assault. All three juveniles were involved in a fight near Taggert Field on 09-08-22.
4. A 13-year-old female is being charged with Simple Assault. On 09-10-22, the female punched, kicked, and bit her mother and went after her with a pair of scissors.
5. A 12-year-old female is being charged with Simple Assault, Disorderly Conduct, and Harassment. On 09-09-22, the female assaulted another juvenile female after getting off the school bus.
