News Release

October 10, 2022

Incidents:

1.  CRASH - On 10-07-22 at 12:13 PM, a crash occurred in the 900 block of Bellefonte Ave.  The driver of a 2022 Nissan Pathfinder fell asleep while driving and hit a rock wall causing the vehicle to roll over.  No one was injured in the crash.  The driver was cited with Careless Driving.  

Offenses Charged:

1.  Colton Swanson, 21, Lock Haven, is being cited with violation of the City Noise Ordinance.  On 10-09-22 at 12:38 AM, Swanson played music loud enough to be heard a half a block away. 

2.  On 10-09-22 at 2:02 AM, officers were dispatched to a fight in the 300 block of E Main St.  The following people are being cited as a result of the incident:

            Shawn Litz, 44, Lock Haven, for Public Drunkenness and Disorderly Conduct

            Tiffany Hardy, 36, Lock Haven, for Disorderly Conduct

            Trevor Bauman, 25, Lock Haven, for Disorderly Conduct

3.  On 10-08-22, Tyler Dewald, 31, Lock Haven, called police to the 600 block of E Bald Eagle St.  Dewald stated someone was being held hostage with a gun.  It was found that Dewald was on drugs and was hallucinating. Drug paraphernalia was found on Dewald.  When Dewald was being taken into custody, he resisted arrest.  Dewald was charge with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Resisting Arrest.  Dewald was arraigned in front of MDJ Kibler and given $15,000 bail.  Dewald remains in the correctional facility unable to post bail.
