News Release

May 31, 2021

Incidents:

1.  CRASH – On 05-27-21 at 9:35 PM, a crash occurred in the 10 block of Bellefonte Ave.  Dustin Major, 30, Lock Haven, was operating a motorcycle traveling west on E Main St.  Major failed to negotiate the curve in the road and struck a sign.  Major did not have a motorcycle permit or license and was cited for Operating Vehicle Without Valid License. 

2.  CRASH – On 05-28-21 at 3:56 PM, a crash occurred at E Walnut St and Vesper St.  Isiah Hubbard, 16, Avis, was traveling south on Vesper St.  Hubbard, while facing a stop sign, entered the intersection without giving right-of-way to a vehicle traveling east on E Walnut St, causing a collision.  Hubbard was cited with the Stop Sign violation.        

Arrests:

1.  On 05-29-21, officers responded to an assault that occurred in a residence in the 300 block of N Henderson St.  As a result of the investigation, Joshua Confer, 31, Flemington, was taken into custody and charged with Simple Assault and Harassment.  Confer was arraigned by MDJ Maggs and given $5,000 monetary bail.
