News Release

May 30, 2022

Incidents:

1.  Crash – On 05-28-22 at 10:12 AM, a crash occurred at N Grove St and E Church St.  A vehicle traveling south on Grove St (unit 1) failed to stop for a posted stop sign and struck a vehicle traveling east on E Church St (unit 2).  Unit 1 then traveled into a structure on the northeast corner of the intersection.  The driver of Unit 1 was cited for the stop sign violation.  Two passengers in unit 2 were taken to the hospital for minor injuries.

2.  Theft – On 05-29-22 it was reported that a sign, three planters, and a hometown hero banner were stolen from E Main St.  Anyone with information is asked to contact LHPD. 

Arrests:

1.  Sara Wetzel, 31, Heggins PA, was arrested for a PFA violation.  Wetzel posted a video on TikTok about the plaintiff in the PFA which is prohibited conduct in the PFA.
