May 10, 2021

Incidents:

1. CRASH - On 05-06-21 at 9:14 AM, a motor vehicle crash occurred at E Water St and N Grove St.  Michael Ferraro, 29, Linden, was traveling west on E Water St and failed to stop for a red light.  Ferraro’s vehicle struck a recycling truck that was traveling north on N Grove St, operated by Jarred Dincher, 35, Linden.  A citation for Failure to Stop at Steady Red Signal was filed against Ferraro. 

2.  CRASH – On 05-07-21 at 12:31 PM, a crash occurred at E Church St and N Vesper St.   Tina Young, 59, Beech Creek, was traveling east on E Church St and failed to stop for a red light.  Young’s vehicle struck a vehicle that was traveling south on N Vesper St, operated by Jolene Evans, 63, Jim Thorpe.  A citation for Failure to Stop at a Steady Red Signal was filed against Young. 

3.  CRIMINAL MISCHIEF – On 05-08-21 at 2:00 AM, someone damaged a flag pole in the 100 block of W Park St by jumping up a ripping the pole down. 

Arrests:

1.  On 05-06-21, an arrest warrant was served on Kevin Merriam, 23, Lock Haven.  On 03-30-21, Merriam called 911 and reported that he had pushed someone and needed a police response.  The report was false and Merriam said he had done this just to prove a point to the other person that he wasn’t afraid of being arrested.  Merriam was charged with False Reports to Law Enforcement Authorities.
