News Release

March 7, 2022

Incidents:

1.  Theft – Between 03-03-22 at 12:00 PM and 03-04-22 at 4:40 PM, someone stole two chainsaws from outside a residence in the 10 block of E Main St.

2.  Hit and Run – A hit and run occurred on 03-05-22 between 1:00 AM and 9:00 AM.  A vehicle was struck in the 10 block of N Jones St causing damage to the side mirror.                          

Arrests:

1.  Jamie Dershem, 32, Lock Haven, has been charged with Aggravated Assault and Resisting Arrest. On 02-16-22 at 6:08 PM, officers took Dershem into custody on an outstanding warrant on N Fairview St.  While walking down a steep set of stairs, while handcuffed, Dershem threw herself into N Fairview St while the officer was still holding onto Dershem.  Dershem and two officers were almost struck by vehicles traveling on N Fairview St.  Dershem then refused to stand up and walk even though traffic was still traveling on the roadway.
