News Release

March 1, 2021

Incidents:

1.  CRASH – On 02-26-21 at 11:52 AM, a motor vehicle crash occurred at S Jones St and W Bald Eagle St.  Joseph Mayes, 27, Lock Haven, was traveling north on S Jones St. Mayes failed to stop for a flashing red light and was struck by a vehicle driven by Shiylah Maguire, 19, Lock Haven, which was traveling west on W Bald Eagle St.  A citation for failing to stop at a flashing red light was filed against Mayes.

2.  HIT and RUN – On 02-27-21, a hit and run crash was reported to have happened between 02-26-21 at 8:00 PM and 02-27-21 at 10:00 AM in the 200 block of Peach St.  The victim reported a fence on their property was struck.    

3.  CRIMINAL MISCHIEF – On 02-28-21, the victim reported his vehicle was damaged while parked in the 10 block of Spring St. 

Arrests: 

1.  A citation for Disorderly Conduct is being filed against Dakota Cook, 23, Lock Haven.  On 02-02-21 at 4:38 PM, Cook pushed the victim to the ground a struck him in the face.  This occurred in the 10 block of S Fairview St. 

2.  On 02-28-21, Dacota Clarke, 34, Lock Haven, was issued citations for Trespass and Harassment for being at a property in the 400 block of Linden St where he has been previously notified that he is not permitted to be at and for fighting with the victim in the front yard of the residence.  Clarke was also arrested for a PFA violation for having contact with the same victim.
