News Release

August 9, 2021

Incidents:

1.  Fraud – On 08-07-21, victim reported someone opened a bank account in her name. 

2.  Fraud – On 08-07-21, victim reported someone filed unemployment in his name. 

3.  Crash – On 08-07-21, Manjinder Singh, 30, North Carolina, operated a tractor trailer truck in the area of Shamrock St which is prohibited by City Ordinance.  Singh struck a no parking sign and tore down power wires in the area.  Singh was cited with Obedience to Traffic Control Devices for traveling in an area clearly marked “No trucks”. 

Arrests:

1.  On 08-05-21, Ashley Calhoun, 34, Lock Haven, was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.  These charges are the result of an investigation from an incident on 03-20-21.  Calhoun was in possession of Fentanyl, glass smoking pipes, and a straw used to ingest controlled substances.
