Lock Haven City Police

News Release

November 11, 2022

Incidents:

1.  Fraud – Victim reported they were sent three fraudulent checks and were told to cash them and send the money to another location.  Victim did send $500 before reporting the incident to police. 

Offenses Charged:

1.  Heather Jalonski, 50, Lock Haven, is being cited with Disorderly Conduct.  On 11-08-22, in the 10 block of Williamson Heights, Jalonski yelled slurs at her neighbor outside. 

2.  Cody Stern, 34, Lock Haven, has been charged with Criminal Trespass, Criminal Mischief, Institutional Vandalism, and Public Drunkenness.  On 11-09-22 at 5:17 AM, Stern broke into the Lock Haven City Public Works facility while under the influence of a controlled substance. 

3.  Evan Sylstra, 18, Lock Haven, is being cited with Purchase, Consumption, Possession or Transportation of Liquor, Malt, or Brewed Beverages.  On 11-08-22 at 9:49 PM, Sylstra while operating a motor vehicle was stopped for a stop sign violation.  Two open cans of beer were found in the vehicle. 

4.  On 11-08-22 at 3:10 PM, officers responded to a report of a fight in the E Church St parking lot.  The following people are being cited with Disorderly Conduct as a result of the incident:

            1.  Amanda Martz, 32, Lamar

            2.  David Winters Jr, 34, Shippensburg

            3.  Steven Barner Jr, 31, Lamar
