On July 8, 2025, officers were contacted by the Weis Markets Loss Prevention team in regards to two separate retail theft incidents. It was reported that Nicole Neff was apprehended at the Mill Hall Weis Markets for failing to ring items at the self-checkout register. Through further investigation, it was found that on June 17, 2025, Neff failed to scan and pay for a container of Silk Half and Half, valued at $5.19, and on July 2, 2025, Neff failed to scan and pay for a can of Campbell's Pork and Beans, valued at $1.49.
